The AeroGust Workshop was held on 27-28 April 2017 at the University of Liverpool to communicate the project’s objectives and numerous external stakeholders participated from across academia and industry.
There is nothing better than the synthesis of ideas and we are especially grateful to the FLEXOP project partners for their interaction with AeroGust and hope this will strengthen potential collaborative links.
Ann Gaitonde (AeroGust Scientific Coordinator) opened the workshop by welcoming attendees and an important presentation on industrial perspective was given by Airbus, Dassault and Piaggio. On the first day beneficiary presentations were given by: ULIV, DLR, UBRIS and NLR. Each beneficiary gave an overview of work carried out so far and ‘next steps’ that was accessible to a non-specialist technical audience.
Despite an early start on the second day (08:30am!) the room was still bustling and it was great to hear different perspectives on the research from academic and industrial stakeholders. Presentations on day 2 were given by UCT, INRIA, Valeol, Optimad and NUMECA.
We will make presentations available very soon.
The next AeroGust Workshop will take place in Bristol in 2018 – if you would like to be kept up to date please email us!
